San Diego Meeting Rooms
Select the space to suit your needs from a wide array of choices.  From ballrooms to boardrooms and every room in between, our flexible meeting rooms can be set up in just about any style to satisfy your requirements. 

To ensure your event fulfills your standards, all of our meeting and banquet rooms offer individual controls for heat / air conditioning, sound, music, telephones, multiple electrical / microphone outlets, audiovisual equipment, and 100V single-phase and 220V single-phase electricity.

Ballrooms
Douglas Pavilion and Foyer
Conveniently located just off the main lobby of the hotel, this spacious, 34,000 square foot multi purpose room is ideal for a wide variety of occasions. Organize an industry trade show, complete with over 200 8x10 exhibit booths. Host a spectacular themed gala with 3,000 attendees, with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres served in the adjoining foyer. Divisible into four sections, this versatile space can accommodate as many as 900 in a theater setting, or 500 in a classroom setting.

Manchester Ballroom, Foyer and Terrace
Gather your entire company for the opening session of your annual conference in this expansive ballroom, located on the second floor. Free of columns and offering multiple hang points, this elegant space can easily host over 3,000 in a theater set up.  For smaller groups, choose to separate the room into as many as nine venues, for breakout sessions, luncheon buffets or training classes. The adjoining foyer is ideal for pre-event registration or information tables, while the terrace provides a lovely setting for continental breakfast or coffee breaks.

Elizabeth Ballroom, Foyer and Terrace
The largest ballroom in all of San Diego, Elizabeth offers 30,000 square feet of lavish meeting and event space. Richly colored carpets and classic chandeliers add warming touches to this open, extensive room. Utilize the entire venue to host 3,000 for a cocktails and hors d’oeuvres reception, or 1,800 in a classroom setting for a lecture. The Ballroom can be divided into eight sections, with various configurations to accommodate your group. Capacities range anywhere from 72 to 1,900 depending upon the set up.

Adjoining the Ballroom are the Elizabeth Foyer, offering 16,000 square feet of reception space, and the Elizabeth Terrace overlooking manicured lawns and San Diego Bay from its second story setting. The Elizabeth Ballroom offers two meeting planner offices for show managers, and convenient access from the freight elevators.
Randle Ballroom
Our most intimate ballroom, Randle is a gracious setting for gatherings with 1,000 guests. Energize your sales team with a motivational speaker in a classroom setting for 500, or separate them into five groups to organize new development plans for company growth. The Randle Ballroom is adjoined by a private foyer and terrace overlooking the Pacific Ocean, both lovely venues for cocktail parties or coffee breaks.

Breakout Rooms
A wide variety of breakout rooms are available throughout the four levels of meeting space in our hotel. Most can be divided into multiple sections to create exactly the venue you need to suit your purposes. Capacities for these rooms range from 10 in a classic Boardroom set up to 200 in a theater or classroom style set up. Several of these breakout rooms offer stunning views of the waterfront and landscaped grounds, and each includes built-in coffee break stations and A-V capabilities.

Pool Deck
Create a unique celebration on our beautiful pool deck, located on the fourth floor and overlooking the San Diego Bay and Pacific Ocean.  Warming firepits add a spectacular glow for evening functions, while a built-in stage and bar offer convenient touches.  The pool deck can accommodate as many as 1,500 guests for a reception.
